Writing about Korean food the other week sparked a big desire in me to go out and get more of it. As much as I’d love to return to my parents’ house every day, they live far enough away that it’d be a chore, plus I’ve mooched off of them for long enough that I should probably give my mom a well-deserved break. (You should see how relieved they are now that Davida and I finally got married, it’s hilarious.)
While restaurants specializing in one thing are great, sometimes what you want is a big menu that covers pretty much everything, and one of our favorite Korean restaurants does just that. But there’s something particularly unique about this one that’s worth zooming in on.
Hidden in its menu is a pair of Korean dishes that are rare to find in Chicago, which is the draw for me, but everything else is why we keep going back.
