Hi, everyone!
Just a reminder, today’s newsletter is on the paid schedule, so if you haven’t upgraded yet and want to see what restaurant we visited in this edition, here’s the button.
And I’ve got a brief announcement for you all: I’ll be the guest for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) series on /r/chicagofood’s subreddit tomorrow. I’ve got the distinction of being the first AMA in that subreddit, so hopefully I won’t fall flat on my face.
Most of you guys already ask me questions directly (you’ve probably discovered I’m relatively easy to get ahold of), but if you want to participate in the question and answer session so I don’t look like a loser, I’d be grateful. I’m slightly nervous because I know people on Reddit can get a little prickly, plus I’m a novice user, but I have a feeling this’ll be great fun. See you there.
Back to the good stuff. Based off that photo above, I’m sure you can guess what today’s edition of The Party Cut is about. Yup, we’re doing sushi, but rather than the ultra-affordable stuff, we’re going slightly higher end.
But the thing about today’s location is that it’s not your usual sushi shop, and it’s not in a typical location.
Oh, and do you need any groceries?
