The weather this weekend seems to have really perked everyone up. I don’t know if you noticed it, but it seemed like everyone was out on Saturday. Chicago’s really incredible when everyone’s in a good mood, and I’m pretty sure a nice spell of weather has a lot to do with it.

I thought I’d take advantage of the fresh air before the chill inevitably takes over, and I snuck out the door while Davida slept in to get us some (okay, a lot of) baked goods for breakfast.

I was initially reminded of this one particular bakery when friend of the newsletter, Dana, posted about it a while back on her Instagram feed. This shop has been immensely popular since it opened up some years back, and since I’ve recently been on somewhat of a bakery kick, I thought I was finally due for a visit.
