The Corner Slice: A hidden sandwich at a hot dog stand
Here's a small snippet of extra intel for you
Every so often I’ll have a tiny bit of info that’s not worth a giant post, which I’ve decided to call “The Corner Slice.” I’ll send them out to paid subscribers as an occasional bonus drop.
That’s just another reason to upgrade your subscription, hint hint:
Everyone knows that the corner slice is the best part of a Chicago-style thin crust pizza, because it’s small, perfectly topped, and usually just enough for one quick bite. It’s the first bit I reach for whenever I dig into a pizza, which gets me excited to dig into the rest. You get it.
This is the first Corner Slice drop, and personally, I think it’s a really good one. Because I sure wasn’t expecting this sandwich when I visited this mom and pop shop for the first time.
