Saying goodbye is never easy

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that’s just how things go sometimes. Today’s edition of the newsletter is here to inform you that a neighborhood institution on the North Side is closing.

This one particularly hurts because it’s a vestige of old Chicago, and though I’m not always one to lament when things close (it’s the circle of life), it’s always a little harder when you’re not expecting it.
